Health is made from your daily choices.
Do you know the answer to our question?.
Question number 45 in our School of Fitness.
Most people know by now that healthy fit choices in the gym and the forest trail, at home and in daily life are nothing but a ticket towards increased health and life span, in body and mind.
But, the health of our biological system is made up of near-endless processes and aspects. And that certainly applies to the state of our brain. Hence today's focus on our brains hippocampal capacity and health.
Read on beyond the break and dig deep down in our fitness school question.
My Question:.
So my question for you is this. If we take a snapshot of your brain at 30 years of age, and 60 and 80.
And if we especially focus on your brain's hippocampal state, its health and its function. Will your 60 and 80-year-old brain function more like your 30-year-old brain if you work out every week in the gym and maintain your daily fitness activities? And will your hippocampal area even end up younger, biologically speaking if you maintain or improve your fitness levels instead of going all sedentary?
And to add just one more layer to the question.
Will any of this change if we also throw in Alzheimer's in the mix?

Make up your mind, and once you have made your pick click the "And the Correct Answer is" label down below to reveal the right one.
1.
Physical fitness activity will result in a biologically younger hippocampus and help to mitigate issues associated with aging and Alzheimer's disease.
2.
While fitness and daily activity will be beneficial for the health and state of our brain, Alzheimer's disease does not improve no matter the amount of fitness.
Regular fitness and daily physical activity will fortify a much more vital hippocampal area in our brain no matter your chronological age.
Further, fitness will help your brain resist the onslaught of Alzheimer's disease.
In recent studies, published summer of 2019 it was showcased how the genes in our brains hippocampal are showed robust enrichment for mitochondrial energy production, synaptic signaling mechanisms, axon and white matter health, and control of transcription.
Further, 95% of the participants, ranging in age from 30 to 95 showed a hippocampal area that actually grew biologically younger across a host of biological processes due to their fitness activities.
