Life is your art

a Norse View creative director, author and photographer, Mike Koontz.
A lover of life´s inherent beauty found in every aspect of nature and every day life. The progressive science and wonders of our world and universe, it´s perfectly flawed people and animals alike and the way it all evolve.
I marvel at the technological advances that seemingly happens at a continually increasing pace. And I find great joy and peace of mind in the daily grind and science of keeping fit, healthy and active, enjoying the cold outdoors at winter as much as killing it hard, all year round in the gym. Eating healthy food and living a sustainable life while enjoying the pleasures and adventures of all the big and small wonders that is our life in the Anthropocene.

I write fictional books and poetry as well as articles about the factual parts of life, including my daily life and interest in health and fitness, equality, sustainability, science, nature and wildlife. And my Nordic creative photography is of course an ever present and essential part of my creative expression in everything I publish.

The turning of a new year for camelopardalis and Hominoidea.

I am a simple person in my view on life and I do not believe in greed, or a world where capitalism and unrestrained profit is allowed to be the one governing trait which we all aspire to achieve at the cost of everything else on this planet and life.
I do believe in a just and equal world where we are all allowed to live a healthy life with a decent and fulfilling quality to it. I believe in society needing to show empathy and respect for our individual needs and desires, our wants, joys and pleasures.

In many ways, the future I see is a world more akin to the way of life in the Scandinavian countries, Where you can still create wealth and corporate prosperity without being allowed to forget about the rest of society. I believe in a world made equal according to that model, but made far better with an even higher minimum quality of life for every single person. With a deeper human approach with real equality for all of us. A world where quality of life and health is made a global concern for you and me and the entire planet and universal basic income is the logical daily reality for all of us.

We all deserve and need a healthy and fulfilling life in a world of richness that allows every human being to breathe fresh, unpolluted air, drinking untainted water and eating healthy food and enjoying real education, health care and elderly care.
I believe in every human beings right to live a fulfilling, sustainable, clean and happy life. Where wildlife and nature and our climate is not an after thought in the ruins of greedy corporations and blind, shortsighted politicians.

In our modern global life in the Anthropocene, with our advanced technology and daily scientific progress, our knowledge and insights that continually break new grounds, well, there is no room for more excuses that covers up for greed and plain stupidity anymore. Reality is what it is, and there is room for us all, there is enough for all of us to live a decent life, a sustainable, more caring and healthy and less judgmental life.

There is howver no more room for supporting unsustainable energy producers, selfish people and corporations that sacrifices air, soil, water and life quality all over the world, killing and hurting the health of billions of people all for the sake of ever increasing profit. That time had its time and place and now our world, and you and me, we all deserve a much better and wiser society.

I like to say 'life is your art' and as such we are all allowed to falter but what is important is what we strive to make life today and tomorrow.

It was the year

4.5 Billion

[ "and

with the rising

sun

we turned,

the pages

of a brand new day" ]

Our Paean

Out of my, shallow grave
You raise me from the soil,
with your
haunting words that play
on the senses of the
imaginary, With strokes of life
that warms my soul

with your tongue
that is so very skilled and sensuous,
You call me up

To dance beneath
the ever tree
to the right of you
For all
eternity

But once I stand,
you raise your head, from down
your
knees
And while my hand was
not
thought, to be
yours, to hold, beyond the grave forlorn

In the shadows
Of each silent night, we found a lease
To play, like the moon
and roaming
wolf that follow close
to each other
like
two birds, of feathers,
we are now playing tag
Eternal

as one we rush
through mist
on top
what is, perhaps a broken fortress

From within, A hymn, of bursting hearts,
which might, come from down, the beavers
river, curled up dreams like baleful stars
with raging foam of moving oceans
that greet our
last, few steps

like stones and soil, we flow together
From mountains top
That fall, so high, back to the crust
of a thousand sea

Until once more,
the light
Of day, comes to cease
Our lustful games, the sun that passed
the night
Beneath our
sprawling tree

Come good morning
To say, goodbye,
You raise me soon
Enough, to dance
Another night,
and

together
We stayed, remain, we fall so slow,
we run with stars we swim,
climb and bleed,
venture forth
for all eternity

Beneath this seldom tree

Last Few Published Books and Articles

  • Anthropocene & the human health. Plastic litter in our salt, tap water, honey, fish & food. Land and soil and blood system.

    Quality time needed: 6 minutes

    Plastic Litter
Tap water, Sea salt & Food.
    Life in the Anthropocene.

In Europe, 72% of all tap water contains 1.9 fibers of plastic litter per 500ml of water.
That number increases to 94% of all tap water in the USA which contains 4.8 plastic litter fibers per 500ml of water. And worldwide 83% of all tap water contains plastic litter.
But the issue of plastic contamination in our water is not just about tap water, nor is it, as we have previously talked about, only a concern with sea food. This is a growing man-made health issue which has been going on for a very long time and by now it is part of every aspect of society and our natural world.
For instance, scientists found plastics in products in studies on Chinese Sea salt in 2015.

  • Fitness School, Do you know the right answer?. Question 15, Do you eat plastic litter when you add salt to your food?.

    Quality time needed: 4 minutes

    Fitness School
Do you know the right answer?.

Question number 15 in our School of Fitness.
I like to say that 'Individual health is planetary health & planetary health is individual health'. So today's question will focus a bit on that simple fact.
Here goes. Can something as trivial as adding salt to your food expose you to unhealthy plastic litter ( on top of the many well established unhealthy aspects of consuming too much salt )?

  • Fitness School, Do you know the right answer?. Question 13, the truth of overweight and metabolically healthy.

    Quality time needed: 6 minutes

    Fitness School
Do you know the right answer?.

Question number 13 in our School of Fitness.
Today's question, there is a polite saying that goes like this,"fat but fit". And that is certainly a wonderfully inclusive phrase, and as such worth repeating, and respecting, this world has far too much of fat, fit and slut shaming as it is. But how is the simple truth of being fat but metabolically healthy actually looking?

  • Anthropocene: A long form article called Indonesia

    Quality time needed: 8 minutes

Another fascinating aspect of life in Indonesia is that in total its population is made up of over 300 different ethnic and linguistic groups that combined speak over 700 different languages.

  • Fitness School, Do you know the right answer?. Question 12, Running and the shock impact of each step.

    Quality time needed: 4 minutes

    Fitness School
Do you know the right answer?.

Question number 12 in our School of Fitness.
Today's question, running is a super healthy aspect of any fit & healthy lifestyle. But the brunt of running too often also put intense pressure and wear on feet and knees and tibia since our lower body absorbs almost all of the impact while we run.
So how often do the average runner ( in general ) smash their delicate feet's and shin bone into that immovable ground per minute while they are ramping up the miles.

  • Book: 'Wings of a Raven, 2028AD'. The first book from the near future book universe 2028AD created by Mike Koontz. Mature and at times naughty storytelling and explicit events hide behind each page of this sci-fi tale. Less than 40 000 words.

And if at any point and turn, you feel that you need more from this charming sci-fi universe, reach for the abyss of the dark world wide web and the home of every book and short story that relates to 2028AD right here at anorseview.com.
The first book in this sci-fi universe, is delivered with a touch of abstract horror, and the pleasure and kink of sensual and sultry naughty love. Mixed with moments of life and death, science, and space exploration, pollution, sex, war, poverty, famine. The man made horror and climate change.
In the 2028AD universe Earth is a world wrought in chaos. And it is a place where hope and despair tumble and take turn with the trembling steps of colonizing other planets while the oceans on planet Earth keeps rising.
